Manager, Facilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and improvement of all facilities including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Manage service contracts, vendors, and service level agreements
• Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and expense tracking
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Develop long-term facilities plans, including space planning, renovations, and expansions
• Establish emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and disaster recovery strategies
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with service providers and suppliers
• Manage complex projects such as new store openings, relocations, and renovations
• Measure and report key performance metrics for expenses and ticket resolution

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field
• Strong understanding of building systems and safety regulations
• Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of lease terms, common area maintenance, and blueprints
• Ability to operate independently in a lean environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or Engineering
• Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification
• Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification
