Manager, Facilities and Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing maintenance operations for all building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure functionality and safety
• Establish and complete preventative maintenance schedules for ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, fire protection, and electrical systems
• Direct and assign maintenance projects within the property to ensure proper completion
• Initiate and maintain facility sanitation programs to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance
• Prepare departmental profit plans and manage related budgets and expenditures
• Oversee third-party providers, including pest control and security vendors
• Provide leadership, training, and performance evaluations for maintenance staff
• Enforce all safety rules and comply with OSHA, HACCP, and other state/federal regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5 years of experience as a Facilities Maintenance Manager or Facilities Engineer
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of facility equipment
• Considerable knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systems operations
• Ability to pass a functional capacity test
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Electrical and/or refrigeration license or certificate
• Knowledge of Energy Management Systems
