Manager - EY Private - Assurance

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized assurance services to business owners and entrepreneurs within the EY Private Client Services team
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel to establish value
• Perform audit procedures with a focus on complex and specialized issues
• Review corporate tax returns and propose solutions to identified tax issues
• Collaborate on engagement planning and audit strategies that comply with professional standards and address risk
• Monitor engagement team progress and delegate work effectively to ensure timely delivery
• Lead and develop team members through coaching, performance reviews, and training
• Identify and generate new business opportunities to grow the practice

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field
• Canadian CPA/CA designation (or recognized reciprocal designation) is mandatory
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm
• Excellent project management skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Strong dedication to teamwork, leadership, and professional integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-graduate diploma or degree in Accounting
• Ability to speak, read, and write in French
