Manager, Equipment Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and support service engineering activities for internal manufacturing labs in Colorado
• Install, maintain, repair, and qualify laboratory instruments, hardware, software, and network products
• Diagnose and resolve complex product performance issues, primarily related to hardware
• Perform preventive maintenance and advise users on configurations to ensure reliability
• Document all service activities and repairs within computerized maintenance management software
• Support audits by defending maintenance, qualification, and instrument usage protocols
• Mentor service engineers and instrument users on Agilent instrument systems
• Deliver integrated solutions including peripherals, communications, and application software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a similar field
• 5+ years of experience as an Agilent Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical role
• Proven experience working with Agilent solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with equipment parts sourcing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience as a supervisor or manager
• Agilent-provided instrument training
