Manager Environmental Aggregates

Responsibilities

• Implement, oversee, and maintain the CEMEX Environmental Management System across multiple South Florida Aggregates sites.
• Ensure conformance with all federal, state, and municipal environmental legislation and regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison and negotiator with regulatory agencies regarding site oversight.
• Oversee the analysis of site air, water, and land systems to ensure constituents remain within regulatory limits.
• Develop and implement corrective actions, controls, and programs to mitigate environmental exceedances.
• Plan and develop policies related to air, water, and land systems in alignment with organizational and government standards.
• Identify environmental risks and develop strategies to minimize or eliminate them.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to field environmental specialists and technicians.
• Interface with community leaders and public officials to promote a positive corporate image.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional environmental experience (or a combination of 2 years plus an advanced degree).
• Substantive knowledge of land entitlement and regulatory permitting processes at federal, state, and local levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Experience with Google Earth Pro, Esri ArcGIS, and/or Autodesk AutoCAD 3D.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as business requires.
