Manager, Enterprise Security

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise security strategy, roadmap, and execution across identity, endpoints, SaaS, and corporate network security.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of enterprise security engineers.
• Architect Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust controls, including SSO, MFA, and access lifecycle management.
• Secure the endpoint fleet by owning the strategy for EDR, MDM, and device compliance.
• Drive SaaS and third-party security through posture management and vendor risk assessments.
• Automate security operations, including onboarding/offboarding workflows and access reviews, using code-driven systems.
• Partner cross-functionally with IT, Legal, Compliance, and People teams to implement durable technical controls.
• Lead enterprise AI security strategy, establishing governance and technical controls for safe AI adoption.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise security, identity security, or corporate security engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a management or team-lead capacity.
• Deep expertise in IAM, including SSO, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM, and identity governance.
• Proficiency in endpoint security, including EDR and MDM across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Experience securing cloud-native environments (GCP or AWS) and managing large SaaS estates.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the San Francisco office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or scaling an enterprise security function from 0 to 1 at a high-growth startup.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare (HIPAA), fintech, or life sciences (SOC 2, HITRUST).
• Experience applying Generative AI to security operations or automating security workflows.
