Manager, Engineering - Water

LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We are on a singular mission to create an Olympic and Paralympic Games that celebrate all this city and country have to offer.

Responsibilities

• Develop temporary water infrastructure strategy to support Games Operations across all venues
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders’ requirements to develop cost effective solutions
• Lead water infrastructure design to meet schedule milestones
• Oversee external resources to deliver on workstream responsibilities
• Provide training and support for delivery teams to operate water infrastructure during Games Operations
• Support cross-functional initiatives including Permitting, Risk Management, Procurement, and Health & Safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 5+ years experience developing design documentation (piping layouts, load calculations, equipment selection, etc.)
• Experience with industry codes, local regulations, and utility service provider coordination
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Forma, Bluebeam, or Procore
• Ability to work onsite in Downtown Los Angeles

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Office360, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Experience managing external consultants to meet project goals
