Manager, Engineering - Endpoint - Mac/Linux Dev

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of the Aurora Endpoint product line, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions
• Manage a distributed engineering organization, with primary responsibility for an established team in Bangalore, India
• Champion the adoption of AI-driven software engineering practices to improve development velocity and code quality
• Partner with Product Management and Architecture to define roadmaps and evolve technical direction
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, including CI/CD, automation, and secure coding standards
• Mentor and develop leaders and engineers through coaching, performance management, and career growth support

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering leadership
• Proven experience leading distributed or global engineering teams
• Strong background in endpoint, systems-level, or security-focused software development
• Expertise in driving execution across multiple concurrent projects with measurable outcomes
• Experience implementing modern development practices, including CI/CD and automation
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in endpoint security or cybersecurity products
• Experience leading AI-enabled development transformations or implementing developer productivity tooling
• Background in cross-platform development environments (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Experience managing managers or senior technical leads
• Experience scaling engineering operations in a high-growth SaaS environment
