Manager, Engineering Culture Communication and Coordination

Responsibilities

• Drive the communications and strategy behind the Scotiabank Engineering Mindset culture re-alignment through internal messaging and social media.
• Plan and manage large-scale events including hackathons, showcases, town halls, and speaker events.
• Produce multimedia content, including filming, scripting, and editing video artifacts for internal and external use.
• Design and implement detailed marketing campaigns to foster a shift toward an Engineering Mindset across the enterprise.
• Partner with HR and CIO leadership to ensure consistent messaging regarding career streams, cultural expectations, and equity-deserving voices.
• Monitor the external environment to identify speaking and award opportunities for technology staff.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in communications or event management.
• University degree in technology, communications, design, video, marketing, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
• Proven experience in marketing campaign management.
• An active social media profile with experience as a content creator, influencer, or public speaker.
