Manager, Engineering – Cloud Infrastructure Automation

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-impact team of cloud infrastructure engineers and SREs, providing technical mentorship and career development.
• Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CRD to ensure scalable platform management.
• Oversee the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical infrastructure services, ensuring high availability and rapid incident mitigation.
• Architect and optimize cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Cloud and Product Security teams to implement robust security controls, policies, and monitoring.
• Establish and refine SRE practices, including monitoring, alerting, on-call processes, and post-incident analysis.
• Identify automation opportunities across infrastructure and security workflows to enable developer self-service.
• Track and present key performance indicators such as SLAs, SLOs, and security posture to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience in technical leadership or people management.
• Hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency in containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, network security, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001).
• Proven track record of driving operational reliability using SRE methodologies.
