About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a dedicated engineering team focused on rearchitecting the parsing platform and data processing systems.
- Drive delivery aligned to quarterly priorities and roadmap commitments.
- Partner with Product and Architecture teams on planning and execution.
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers, providing coaching and performance management.
- Guide the development of high-performance services within a real-time data pipeline (streaming and batch).
- Ensure high standards for system reliability, data quality, and maintainability.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for collaboration between teams in North America and India.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle and lead hiring efforts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 2–3+ years of experience in a management role.
- Proven experience leading teams of 5+ engineers delivering production systems.
- Strong background in backend or distributed systems.
- Experience with large-scale data or pipeline systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-throughput or real-time data processing systems.
- Familiarity with stream processing technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink, Spark).
- Experience with systems handling diverse or evolving data formats.
- Background in platform or infrastructure engineering.
- Exposure to cybersecurity or data-intensive domains.
