Manager Engine Program

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Propulsion Engineers to support the Etihad engine fleet.
• Ensure technical compliance with OEM, Airworthiness Authorities, and Etihad Aircraft Maintenance Program requirements.
• Provide cost-effective engineering support for engine types including Trent 7000, LEAP-1A, V2500, GE90, GEnx, and GP7200.
• Manage outsourced maintenance activities and liaise with Engine, APU, and component OEMs.
• Investigate in-service events, delays, and technical problems to implement corrective action programs.
• Manage engine/APU modification standards, including Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
• Review and approve engine work-scopes and manage engine shop visits, lease returns, and spare availability.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance to the Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) and review Engine Health Monitoring Reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent tertiary qualifications meeting Chartered Engineer eligibility).
• Alternatively, an ICAO Type II AME License with relevant Approvals.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft engine technical support.
• Proven experience with at least two of Etihad's engine types.
