About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-user technologies to ensure operational stability, integrity, and efficiency across the organization
- Lead the engineering of solutions for laptops, desktops, VDI/VDA, SCCM, Intune, and O365
- Develop and manage standards for corporate and retail devices, including application packaging and OS deployment
- Support mobile strategy by managing MDM technologies and device consolidation
- Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance productivity and proactively remediate device issues
- Lead engineering and support for conference room technology, including AV systems and collaboration tools
- Collaborate with InfoSec to ensure device security, software patching, and compliance with security audits
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical expertise to L1, L2, and L3 support teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in end-user computing, desktop engineering, or IT infrastructure
- 3+ years in a senior or leadership capacity
- Deep technical expertise in Windows and macOS operating systems
- Proven experience with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 (O365)
- Experience with VDI/VDA environments (such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, or AVD)
- Strong knowledge of MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf, Workspace ONE) and mobile operating systems (iOS, Android)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Expert, ITIL, MCSE, or CompTIA A+/Network+
