About the role

Responsibilities

  • Direct, coordinate, and monitor health, safety, and environmental (MASH) practices to ensure regulatory compliance and organizational profitability.
  • Manage and coordinate Process Safety Management (PSM) elements, including risk administration, emergency management, and audit compliance.
  • Implement and maintain emergency control processes, including drills and risk control planning.
  • Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and document self-management systems to minimize occupational health and safety risks.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, environmental standards, and waste management protocols (hazardous and non-hazardous).
  • Design and execute strategies for accident prevention and the implementation of Total Loss Control models.
  • Lead organizational initiatives to promote a favorable work environment and prevent psychosocial risks.
  • Manage the department budget and report monthly MASH performance statistics to corporate leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in production or maintenance management.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM).
  • Proficiency in Hazard and Operability (Haz-Op) analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with waste management programs and environmental auditing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with gas and fire simulators.
  • Experience managing integrated management systems (Quality, Environmental, and Safety).
