Manager, Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team in the design and development of KARNO generator systems
• Oversee the design and execution of electrical hardware, control modules, and system-level solutions
• Integrate electrical and control modules into final products and collaborate with suppliers
• Define electrical design requirements and technical best practices
• Provide coaching and leadership across engineering and operations teams
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards
• Lead technical issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Achieve system cost targets through design optimization and strategic supplier selection
• Develop schematics and release drawings for low- and high-voltage wiring harnesses

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
• 10+ years of engineering experience
• Expertise in high-voltage power electronics design (AC/DC, DC/DC, battery systems)
• Experience with low- and high-voltage wiring harness design
• Knowledge of real-time control systems, including PLCs and microcontrollers
• Proficiency with prototyping, testing, and validation tools like FMEA and DVP&R
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards such as IEC and UL
