About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation, account management, and administration of drug testing programs for new and existing clients.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients, laboratories, collection sites, and the Medical Review Officer (MRO).
- Oversee client account setup, including system configuration, billing setup, and client orientation.
- Coordinate drug testing operations to ensure timely processing of results in compliance with regulatory rules.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance monitoring processes and produce accurate auditable reports.
- Conduct client education and training sessions, including drug awareness seminars for supervisors and employees.
- Assist in the identification, negotiation, and monitoring of the provider network of laboratories and collection sites.
- Support financial responsibilities including monthly financial statements, account reconciliation, and budget audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in the medical field (e.g., toxicology laboratory, hospital, or occupational drug testing).
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of DOT drug and alcohol regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- C-SAPA (Certified Substance Abuse Program Administrator) certification.
- MRO-A (Medical Review Officer Authorized) certification.
- Experience with drug testing platforms such as I3Screen or similar applications.
- Experience in billing, budgeting, or fiscal operations.
