Manager, Distribution

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical leadership for the warehouse receiving and material movement team.
• Manage receiving and material movement operations to ensure timely receipt and issuance for manufacturing and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with Procurement to resolve supplier issues and improve inventory storage efficiency.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
• Build, develop, and train a highly effective team.
• Ensure compliance with Work Instructions, Quality Management Systems, ISO 13485, MDSAP, and GMP/GDP requirements.
• Manage warehouse KPIs, control metrics, and projects related to cost savings and system enhancements.
• Oversee external 3rd party warehouse performance and manage Dangerous Goods compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of distribution management experience.
• Extensive experience in setting up and managing warehousing operations.
• Strong knowledge of medical device regulations, Cold Chain controls, and ISO 13485/GMP/GDP.
• Proficiency with WMS systems and familiarity with SAP ERP.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
