Manager, Distribution

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a distribution center team of up to 20 hourly personnel during the second shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
• Drive operational excellence by resolving issues, improving processes, and implementing productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure safety and compliance through daily safety meetings, employee mentoring, and enforcement of work procedures.
• Oversee inventory and equipment management, including receiving, processing, storage, and maintenance.
• Manage administrative tasks such as payroll, attendance, and workflow decision-making to enhance service levels.

• Proven ability in performance management to develop and improve individual and team performance.
• Strong planning and organizing skills to manage tasks, time, and resources systematically.
• Effective problem-solving skills to recognize and resolve operational or process issues.
• Commitment to service excellence and meeting customer needs and expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in distribution center management or warehouse operations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to accurately interpret and transmit information.
• Prior leadership experience in a fast-paced industrial or logistics environment.
