Manager, Discovery Shop II

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operations for a retail resale thrift store, including donation acquisition, processing, and merchandising.
• Manage, develop, and retain a small team of employees and a large group of volunteers (50+).
• Drive sales performance and implement strategic initiatives to meet annual revenue and net income goals.
• Oversee inventory management, supply procurement, and staff/volunteer scheduling.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a primary point of contact for donors and customers.
• Partner with marketing to execute promotional campaigns and raise the store's profile within the community.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of retail management experience.
• Proven experience leading staff and/or volunteers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Prior experience in a resale or specialty store environment.
• Experience utilizing retail software, including Point of Sale (POS) and reporting tools.
