Manager/Deputy Manager - Highway

Responsibilities

• Prepare horizontal and vertical alignment designs for highways, expressways, and urban roads
• Design cross sections, super elevation, widening, and junction layouts
• Lead the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for highway projects
• Conduct feasibility studies, alignment studies, and route selection
• Coordinate with bridge, drainage, traffic, pavement, and utility engineers to ensure design integration
• Use software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Designer for highway modeling
• Review drawings, reports, and calculations prepared by junior engineers to ensure compliance with IRC standards
• Coordinate with clients including NHAI, State PWD departments, and EPC contractors
• Lead and guide design teams of junior engineers and drafters

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
• Extensive experience in highway geometric design and corridor modeling
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Designer
• Strong knowledge of Indian Roads Congress (IRC) standards and MoRTH guidelines
• Experience in quantity estimation and BOQ preparation

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Tech in Transportation Engineering
• Experience with MX Road software
