About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for new decision science products from discovery to continuous delivery
- Define product strategy and multi-release roadmaps based on user and market insights
- Lead cross-functional squads including engineering, data science, data engineering, and UX
- Convert complex analytical concepts like forecasting and machine learning into intuitive user experiences
- Integrate user research and usability studies into product requirements
- Establish and improve agile product development practices and backlog hygiene
- Guide solution testing and validation including UAT and A/B testing
- Partner with client stakeholders as a strategic advisor
- Develop and mentor team members within an inclusive culture
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data science product management or advanced analytics solution development
- 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams or agile squads
- Proven ability to translate technical requirements into business outcomes
- Demonstrated experience with agile product development and backlog management
- Experience partnering with engineering, data science, and UX functions
- Ability to synthesize user research and market analysis for strategy
- Strong storytelling and executive communication skills
- Familiarity with statistical/ML concepts, forecasting, optimization, and SQL
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing or managing data products
- Familiarity with data mesh and zero copy architecture (Snowflake/Iceberg)
- Experience in media, parks, or consumer domains
- Experience with agentic AI products and design patterns
- Background in revenue management or forecasting applications
- Hands-on familiarity with Python, R, or modern data platforms
- Experience with Tableau or experimentation platforms
- Master's degree in a quantitative field
