Manager - Data Science

Responsibilities

• Implement highly scalable AI/ML solutions in areas such as Generative AI, NLP, Personalization, and Time Series predictions.
• Manage the full solution lifecycle from identifying business problems and collecting datasets to modeling and delivering production-grade solutions.
• Research academic papers and test nascent ideas to solve new business problems and enhance existing capabilities.
• Define and develop deployment strategies for production-quality AI solutions within cloud infrastructure.
• Drive technical designs, conduct design reviews, and ensure code quality through functional testing and CI/CD integration.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and participate in cross-functional business discussions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field (PhD preferred).
• Proven track record of research publications in journals or conferences.
• 2+ years of experience in engineering leadership for highly available, scalable, and high-throughput systems.
• 2+ years of experience delivering sophisticated AI/ML solutions at scale.
• Expertise in at least one field: Generative AI, Deep Learning, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, or Recommendation Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Java.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Kubeflow.
• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or ScikitLearn.
