Manager, Data Product Management

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of five product managers, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Define intake strategy and priorities by translating organizational goals into well-defined outcomes and a value-based prioritization framework.
• Partner with senior business and DPP stakeholders to capture demand and align on priorities.
• Drive the product vision and operating model for demand intake, including the product delivery lifecycle (PDLC).
• Create an environment that encourages creative problem-solving and ensures all voices are heard.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of Product Management experience with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Experience with scaled agile practices (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) and product portfolio management.
• Proven experience implementing product-led operating models, including demand intake and requirements definition.
• Proficiency in writing product requirements documents (PRDs).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud-based data platforms and architectures (e.g., medallion architecture).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a comparable field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying product management principles specifically to data products.
• Experience planning and delivering large-scale data or platform initiatives within a governance function.
• Experience working with remote repositories like GitHub or GitLab.
