Manager, Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines using SQL Server to support data integration, transformation, and validation.
• Support the end-to-end data development lifecycle, including data profiling, ingestion, modeling, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Automate manual and repetitive data processes to drive continuous improvement in efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and integrity of data products through proactive monitoring, controls, and root-cause analysis.
• Work within an Agile environment to adapt to evolving business requirements and deliver trusted data for downstream analytics.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and technology teams to meet performance and support expectations.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics engineering.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server in on-premise and private cloud environments.
• Proven experience with ETL/data integration using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with Power BI, including developing semantic models and datasets.
• Solid understanding of dimensional and relational data modelling.
• Required experience developing and supporting SSRS and SSAS solutions.
