Manager Data Administration

Responsibilities

• Manage large health insurance claims databases, including integration, cleaning, and quality checks.
• Develop efficient processes for the use and management of Core data.
• Perform decryption, extraction, and management of complex healthcare datasets.
• Establish data governance policies to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Provide supervisory support to analytical staff and oversee Core data users.
• Design and lead training and research support for faculty, staff, and students.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to expand the Core’s service offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data management.
• Strong understanding of data structures.
• Proficiency in SAS for data management and analysis.
• Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related scientific field.
• 5+ years of experience working with large claims datasets or electronic health record (EHR) data.
• Proven ability to conduct data linkage and analysis on complex datasets.
• High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and data querying tools.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including faculty and senior administrators.
