Manager, Damages & Valuations

Responsibilities

• Conduct economic, financial, accounting, and industry research to address complex litigation and commercial questions
• Analyze financial and non-financial information and report findings to team members
• Assist in the preparation of damages, forensic accounting, and construction quantum reports
• Assist with the preparation of critique reports examining the conclusions of other experts
• Communicate directly with clients and legal counsel
• Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and mediations
• Manage the day-to-day requirements of multiple engagements and prioritize team workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field from an accredited institution
• 4+ years of experience in economic damages and/or forensic accounting
• Strong expert report writing skills to complement quantitative analytics
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at a "Big Four" accounting firm
• Professional designations such as CPA, CFF, CFA, CFE, or ABV (or currently pursuing them)
• Working proficiency in a second non-English language
