About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a cross-functional internal consultant to support multiple business units in making key strategic decisions.
- Supervise and complete quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform company strategy and operational effectiveness.
- Build and maintain models, dashboards, and analyses to support forecasting, capacity planning, and performance management.
- Analyze company data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate the economic and operational impact of new products and company initiatives.
- Communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders through verbal, visual, and written formats.
- Manage, support, and guide a team by delegating tasks, assessing performance, and providing professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, math, science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant business experience.
- 5+ years of direct business analytics experience.
- 2+ years of experience leading or directing people and/or project teams.
- Proficiency in Tableau and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint).
- Programming experience in R, SAS, Python, or SQL.
- Ability to work in a matrixed, cross-functional environment and handle ambiguous situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with simulation software such as Simul8, Arena, Simio, or AnyLogic.
- Experience with Databricks or Power BI.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma and statistical process control.
- Working understanding of statistical methods, database design, and data modeling.
- Experience within the laboratory, healthcare, or medical device industries.
