Manager, Credit Risk

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth risk assessments of incoming credit applications for Corporate and Commercial accounts
• Review financial and industry information to ensure the ongoing quality of the credit portfolio
• Assign Borrower and Guarantor risk ratings in compliance with Bank guidelines and policy
• Anticipate risks that could lead to portfolio deterioration and recommend appropriate courses of action
• Identify risk mitigation opportunities and develop portfolio reports
• Provide credit authorizations that clearly communicate adjudication terms and conditions
• Maintain healthy partnerships with business line counterparts and champion a customer-focused culture

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• Experience in credit analysis within Corporate or Commercial Banking environments
• Strong understanding of credit structures, protections, and documentation
• Expertise in analyzing financial projections
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to support credit decisions before internal stakeholders
• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or finance-related professional designations (e.g., CPA, CFA)
