About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive integrated communications across product, corporate, executive, and internal functions to enhance brand reputation.
  • Execute communication planning for vehicle launches, product updates, and brand campaigns.
  • Manage corporate storytelling, reputation management, and strategic media engagement.
  • Develop leadership messaging, including speeches, talking points, and executive visibility programs.
  • Support internal employee engagement initiatives and organizational announcements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive, business, and mainstream media.
  • Manage communication agencies to ensure high-quality, proactive delivery.
  • Support issues and crisis communications, including preparedness and rapid response.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, HR, Legal, and Manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Post Graduate degree in Journalism, Public Relations, MBA, or Communications.
  • 8-12 years of relevant communications experience.
  • Extensive media relations expertise with a proven track record of results.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to write under pressure.
  • Experience in executive and internal communications.
  • Proven experience in agency management.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and articulate compelling content for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive industry or working for a major global auto components company.
  • Experience in other marketing areas such as above-the-line advertising, brand management, or digital engagement.
