Manager, Corporate Accounting

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close for core financial statement areas including debt, interest expense, fixed assets, leases, capitalized software, payroll, and share-based compensation
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation in accordance with US GAAP
• Design and maintain a robust accruals process for operating expenses
• Identify and drive continuous improvements to close processes and automation opportunities
• Develop and apply technical accounting conclusions and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Ensure strong internal controls and support SOX readiness initiatives
• Partner with cross-functional teams including People, Legal, Treasury, and Strategic Finance
• Support ERP implementation and financial systems initiatives
• Mentor and develop junior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Active CPA license in good standing
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP (ASC 842, ASC 470, ASC 718, ASC 350-40)
• Experience with ERP systems and financial close tooling
• Knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Big 4 experience
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or a regulated industry
• Experience with ERP implementation projects
• AI-forward mindset with curiosity for leveraging emerging tools in accounting workflows
