Manager - Controllership (NBFC)

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end closure process and coordinate with Business Finance, AR, and AP teams
• Prepare complete financial statements and present results to internal stakeholders
• Review and ensure accurate calculation of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisions (Ind AS 109)
• Prepare and file all mandatory RBI returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Act as a subject-matter expert on RBI guidelines for NBFCs, including Digital Lending and SBR
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Internal, Tax, and Statutory auditors
• Monitor and report all related-party transactions (RPTs)
• Participate in the preparation of quarterly Board Decks and present metrics to the ALCO
• Partner with the Treasury team for fund-raising activities and lender queries

Requirements

• CA qualification is mandatory
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an NBFC preferred
• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs
• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
