Manager, Contracts

Responsibilities

• Manage dynamic contracts and lead negotiations for the Airborne Spectrum Dominance team
• Own contract management and administration actions across the full acquisition life cycle
• Develop and respond to RFPs and BAAs, including contract negotiations and non-disclosure agreements
• Manage various contract types such as Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Other Transaction Agreements (OTA)
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal teams
• Interface with customers regarding correspondence, contractual changes, and issues
• Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations, regulations, and policies to mitigate risk
• Work with local DCMA/DCAA on government contracts

Requirements

• University Degree and minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or Advanced Degree with 5 years of experience)
• Proven experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, Estimating/Pricing, or Finance
• Deep knowledge of US Government Contracts under FAR and/or DFARS
• Experience serving as a contracts lead or leading contract negotiations
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret security clearance
• Experience working in closed areas and classified environments
• Experience developing high-performance relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Advanced Degrees or industry-recognized contract certifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
