About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of continuing education programs, including needs assessment, curriculum development, delivery, and evaluation.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of courses, overseeing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations.
- Research and develop new educational offerings by analyzing market trends, labor information, and stakeholder needs.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise instructors and faculty to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Drive business development by identifying new partnership opportunities and contributing to the CE business development pipeline.
- Monitor program quality and learner outcomes, implementing continuous improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to execute promotional strategies for programs and courses.
- Provide day-to-day oversight to Portfolio Coordinators and collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline such as healthcare, education, or business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, continuing education, or a related field.
- Proven experience supervising or managing instructors, faculty, or training staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using student or learning management systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working within a healthcare or post-secondary education environment.
- Knowledge of the health professions education landscape in Ontario.
- Experience in business development, partnership management, or proposal development.
