Manager, Continuing Education

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of continuing education programs, including needs assessment, curriculum development, delivery, and evaluation.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of courses, overseeing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations.
• Research and develop new educational offerings by analyzing market trends, labor information, and stakeholder needs.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise instructors and faculty to ensure high-quality program delivery.
• Drive business development by identifying new partnership opportunities and contributing to the CE business development pipeline.
• Monitor program quality and learner outcomes, implementing continuous improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to execute promotional strategies for programs and courses.
• Provide day-to-day oversight to Portfolio Coordinators and collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline such as healthcare, education, or business.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, continuing education, or a related field.
• Proven experience supervising or managing instructors, faculty, or training staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using student or learning management systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working within a healthcare or post-secondary education environment.
• Knowledge of the health professions education landscape in Ontario.
• Experience in business development, partnership management, or proposal development.
