Manager Consolidation

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute consolidation processes and related activities within the GBS European Service Center
• Prepare, create, and review sub-group financial statements in accordance with IFRS using SAP Group Reporting
• Support the regional R2R team in analyzing, validating, and updating data in SAP Group Reporting
• Coordinate quarterly and yearly IFRS reporting to the global group in Japan and the Center of Excellence
• Serve as the main operational contact for stakeholders regarding regional consolidation, financial statements, and audit support
• Ensure accurate validation, reconciliation, and timely delivery of financial statements within the regional scope
• Lead continuous process improvements and mentor junior colleagues to optimize accounting activities

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Accounting
• Several years of experience in Corporate Accounting, Management Accounting, and Group Consolidation
• Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and SAP Group Reporting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards
• Fluency in both English and German
• Experience working in a global, cross-cultural environment with significant stakeholder management
• Strong analytical mindset and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consulting or audit
• Professional certifications such as CMA
• Experience working within GBS or Shared Services structures
• Knowledge of data analytics tools
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
