About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination and administration of configuration management activities for classified programs, including identification, control, verification, and accounting
  • Support program milestones and contribute to successful technical reviews and customer interchanges
  • Engage with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to ensure configuration management representation
  • Review and analyze engineering change data and coordinate changes across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and data control activities
  • Support new proposal efforts and manage program Estimate at Complete (EAC) for configuration management
  • Generate productivity metrics and reports to monitor configuration management performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or a related field
  • 8 years of Configuration Management experience
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) tools
  • Experience with government standards and processes, specifically EIA-649
  • Experience with leadership projects and managing configuration management cost and schedule
  • Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required on day 1
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project planning and technical briefing development
  • Strong attention to detail regarding data integrity and policy compliance
  • Ability to identify and take corrective action on complex technical engineering data issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with leadership
