Manager - Components Management

Responsibilities

• Manage the rotable and repairable component pool, including owned inventory, leased assets, and third-party pooling agreements.
• Optimize component availability by analyzing fleet utilization, reliability trends, and consumption rates to minimize AOG risks.
• Oversee relationships and contracts with MRO providers, monitoring Turn-Around Time (TAT) and contractual compliance.
• Lead the procurement of rotable, repairable, and expendable components in coordination with the Supply Chain department.
• Manage the components budget, tracking spend against forecasts and driving cost reductions through pooling optimization and warranty recovery.
• Ensure all component activities comply with GCAA, EASA, and manufacturer airworthiness standards.
• Maintain component data integrity within ERP/MRO systems such as AMOS or Oracle.
• Provide direction, coaching, and professional development to team members.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Management, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in airline materials, components, or an MRO environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a multi-hub or multi-airline environment.
• Deep knowledge of GCAA/EASA regulations regarding component certification and traceability.
• Proficiency in aviation MRO systems (AMOS, Ramco, or equivalent).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical thinking skills.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with Airbus A320 family components.
• Experience managing Power-by-the-Hour (PBH) agreements and complex MRO vendor contracts.
