Manager, Compliance Advisory

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a global second-line compliance framework for new products, working with regional MLROs to ensure operational excellence.
• Partner with Risk, Operations, and Product teams to align compliance requirements with fraud mitigation and user experience goals.
• Advise Product and Operations teams on risks and opportunities related to automation, AI deployment, and system scale.
• Own the mapping and maintenance of SDD, CDD, and EDD requirements for an evolving product set.
• Design and deliver targeted training regarding complex financial crime and fraud risks in high-volume environments.
• Collaborate with Assurance and Internal Controls teams to execute robust compliance monitoring processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of second-line compliance experience within fintech, payments, or banking at scale.
• Deep expertise in financial crime risk, including AML, CFT, Sanctions, and Fraud.
• Proven experience leading and growing teams, ideally with cross-border or global management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of architecting frameworks for high-volume environments.
• Technical fluency with the ability to work alongside product stakeholders to design compliant user journeys and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a neobank or high-growth fintech environment.
• Experience deploying AI or automation tools to accelerate compliance processes.
• Strong regulatory compliance background.
