About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the Communications & Personalization (C&P) strategy, including strategic vision, business outcomes, and roadmaps.
  • Drive the 1:1 base growth agenda by identifying and prioritizing communication opportunities with measurable business impact.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to evolve MarTech capabilities, including AI, automation, and journey orchestration.
  • Deliver executive-ready storytelling and presentations that translate complex data, AI, and technology topics into clear business recommendations.
  • Lead cross-functional pods and direct reports to execute C&P strategy and base growth priorities.
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights to optimize targeting, offer strategy, channel mix, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing strategy, customer growth, base management, CRM, or personalization.
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, customer targeting, and journey optimization across multiple channels.
  • Proven ability to connect marketing strategy with MarTech, AI, automation, and data capabilities.
  • Experience working with performance data to diagnose issues and drive recommendations.
  • Strong executive storytelling and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry or other complex, data-rich, customer lifecycle-driven businesses.
  • Proficiency with reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Background in marketing, analytics, strategy, consulting, or business transformation.
  • MBA or equivalent post-secondary degree.
