Manager, Communications Design

Responsibilities

• Create accurate, substantiated, and detailed media plans and planning scenarios
• Manage the production and application of consumer, cultural, and market intelligence
• Lead the preparation of communications/media plan flowcharts using MediaTools or Lumina
• Oversee team output and development of flowcharts to address reach, frequency, and business goals
• Develop client-facing category, culture, and competitive tracking documents
• Manage brand media plans, financials, ATBs, and billing documentation
• Lead internal, client, and partner agency status calls and coordinate follow-ups
• Contribute to ideation sessions to generate creative and compelling connections

Requirements

• Experience in an integrated planning role within media, publisher/vendor, or communications disciplines
• Proficiency in media planning with the ability to teach fundamentals to junior members
• Proven ability to delegate, develop, and oversee direct reports
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• 1+ years of experience in managing or developing staff
• Relevant category or audience experience
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Proven problem-solving ability
