About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5-7 Commercial Account Executives
- Drive pipeline generation, prospecting discipline, and full-cycle sales execution
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent aligned to Navan’s mission
- Forecast accurately and deliver on monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Manage day-to-day performance, provide feedback, and support rep development
- Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships across new business opportunities
Requirements
- 2+ years of direct sales leadership experience in a technology company
- 2+ years of experience as an AE individual contributor in Commercial or Mid-Market
- Proven success recruiting, hiring, and developing sales talent
- Strong track record of meeting team and individual sales goals
- Experience coaching through the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce for forecasting and pipeline management
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating in a hyper-growth, outbound sales environment
- Ability to thrive in a player-coach role
- Strong understanding of SaaS value propositions and consultative selling
