Manager - Commercial Accounting

Responsibilities

• Provide key financial insights to management regarding profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and deliver management reporting and performance dashboards.
• Perform in-depth variance analysis for P&L line items by business segment against budget and prior year.
• Oversee end-to-end accounting processes, including revenue recognition, payables, receivables, Capex, and inventory accounting.
• Collect, cleanse, and standardize financial data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Drive process improvements through automation, system enhancements, and ERP standardization.
• Ensure smooth completion of statutory and internal audits while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Sales controlling, or Business controlling.
• Proven experience within the India market.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical background and hands-on experience in business analysis.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with C-level executives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, FMCD, Retail, or Manufacturing industries.
• Multilingual skills.
• Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in ERP systems and presentation tools.
