Manager, Closed-end Fund Accounting Real Estate Strategy

Responsibilities

• Maintain books and records for various Evergreen and Closed-end Partnerships
• Prepare and review complex management fee and waterfall calculations
• Record and reconcile cash, investments, and other balance sheet accounts
• Manage purchase and sale transactions and estimate/post accruals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyze and calculate performance metrics for partnerships and individual investments
• Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators
• Determine and prepare distributions and drawdowns

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or audit experience
• Experience within Big Four public accounting or the investment management industry
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fund administration shop
• Knowledge of IFRS GAAP
• Experience with Geneva and Geneva World Investors
• Proficiency in PowerBI
• ACA or CPA designation
