About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact, data-driven initiatives to align with departmental goals and provide strategic insights to executive leadership.
- Develop and manage advanced analytics platforms to provide real-time reporting on operational, financial, and clinical performance.
- Partner with operations and finance teams to design scalable solutions that optimize workflows and enhance resource allocation.
- Assess and improve departmental processes to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and optimize standard operating procedures.
- Partner with central revenue cycle teams to streamline processes and monitor compliance with policies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and advise leadership on revenue cycle performance metrics, including EPIC processes and insurance verification.
- Identify growth opportunities through data analysis and market research to support new services and expansion initiatives.
- Oversee specific workflows for Breast Cancer Services and Metro North Occupational Health Services programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience.
- Four years of progressive management experience.
- Proven experience collaborating with physician practices.
- Working knowledge of the EPIC system.
- Advanced analytic skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree.
- Five to seven years of progressive management responsibility, with at least five years in a teaching hospital environment.
- Proficiency with Medicare/Medicaid and New York State Managed Care plans.
