Manager, Clinical Data Management

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of Data Management professionals to produce databases that meet customer requirements
• Provide expert review and guidance for Data Management deliverables, including CRF/e-CRF, database design, and Data Management Plans
• Mentor staff members to develop expertise in Data Management processes, systems, and drug development
• Conduct regular meetings with direct reports to discuss project status, timelines, financial aspects, and potential risks
• Collaborate with project leads to manage work scheduling, staffing needs, and projected workloads
• Participate in proposal defenses, Bid Defenses, and Kick-off Meetings (KOM)
• Support Request for Information (RFI), Request for Pricing (RFP), and budget processes
• Ensure staff compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participate in internal and external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical, biological, mathematical sciences, or nursing
• 10 years of relevant work experience, including people management experience
• Advanced knowledge of Data Management processes and systems
• Solid understanding of the clinical drug development process
• Knowledge of project finance, including EAC, forecasting, and burn-rate monitoring
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
