About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop fair market value (FMV) assessments and draft proposals for physician lease and service agreements
- Prepare and review business plans for new clinical faculty recruitment and clinical program expansion
- Monitor and report on actual performance versus business plan targets, identifying variances and areas for improvement
- Develop and monitor KPIs to assess clinical business initiatives and support ROI decision-making
- Prepare and review financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and billing analysis
- Conduct financial and operational assessments of existing practices to identify efficiency opportunities
- Design and direct the preparation of ad hoc reports to analyze specific operational or financial concerns
- Evaluate payer reimbursement levels and analyze insurance trends to inform strategic planning
- Ensure all business plans and physician agreements align with institutional policies and federal regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Public Health, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 4 years of related experience in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with advanced reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare finance or clinical business operations
- Master’s Degree (MBA, MHA, or similar)
- Experience with GE/IDX, EPIC, Experian, and Cognos
