Manager, Clinical Business Development

Responsibilities

• Develop fair market value (FMV) assessments and draft proposals for physician lease and service agreements
• Prepare and review business plans for new clinical faculty recruitment and clinical program expansion
• Monitor and report on actual performance versus business plan targets, identifying variances and areas for improvement
• Develop and monitor KPIs to assess clinical business initiatives and support ROI decision-making
• Prepare and review financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and billing analysis
• Conduct financial and operational assessments of existing practices to identify efficiency opportunities
• Design and direct the preparation of ad hoc reports to analyze specific operational or financial concerns
• Evaluate payer reimbursement levels and analyze insurance trends to inform strategic planning
• Ensure all business plans and physician agreements align with institutional policies and federal regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Public Health, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 4 years of related experience in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with advanced reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare finance or clinical business operations
• Master’s Degree (MBA, MHA, or similar)
• Experience with GE/IDX, EPIC, Experian, and Cognos
