Manager, Client Service

Responsibilities

• Implement primary goals, operating plans, policies, and objectives for the Client Service Department.
• Manage department operations to maintain or improve laboratory efficiency and quality.
• Facilitate client concerns and requests, communicating them to appropriate personnel.
• Evaluate client complaints and trends to recommend changes that ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee personnel management, including hiring, technical training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 17025 standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding both client and company protocols.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a closely related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of laboratory experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency with LIMS and Client Portal systems.
• Strong problem-solving and problem-prevention skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-disciplinary interaction.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and a pleasant approach under stressful conditions.
