Manager, City Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated planning and delivery of city services for a portfolio of LA28 venues
• Serve as a relationship manager with municipal partners and city managers
• Coordinate external operations across functional areas to support Games-time execution
• Develop integrated operational plans by coordinating transportation, security, and venue management
• Analyze operational data and planning models to refine city service requirements
• Manage relationships and day-to-day coordination with internal stakeholder teams
• Lead development of Games-time staffing plans, including roles and training needs
• Prepare concise briefing materials and milestone plans for leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or event delivery
• 3-5 years of management consulting experience in related fields
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and project management platforms
• Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
• Strong analytical skills for developing operational estimates and budgets
• Experience leading or mentoring junior staff
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with or within municipal agencies
• Experience in Los Angeles or Southern California cities
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Google Earth Pro, ArcGIS, or AutoCAD
• Experience negotiating or executing service agreements or operational contracts
• Experience leading structured workshops for large stakeholder groups
