Manager, Central Cloud Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor and foster the growth of a dedicated team of three cloud infrastructure engineers based in India
• Facilitate the development of overall team strategy and scope
• Guide the strategic modernization of existing infrastructure and oversee the integration of legacy systems
• Support tactical coordination of work streams and prioritization based on technical dependencies and business urgency
• Ensure talent development by identifying technical and leadership growth opportunities
• Maximize the utility of engineering deliverables like code and documentation
• Act as a stakeholder for the cloud with a vision for long-term health, performance, and efficiency
• Participate in an on-call system to handle high urgency issues

Requirements

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or a relevant engineering discipline
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• 1+ years of experience leading and managing cloud infrastructure, DevOps or SRE teams
• Previous experience as a hands-on senior or lead engineer
• Strong hands-on background managing, architecting and troubleshooting Linux and Windows systems
• Technical expertise with AWS, Terraform, Atmos, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, containerization, Kafka, SQL databases, cloud networking and Python
• Experience managing security and compliance requirements (PCI and SOC2)
• Ability to craft disaster recovery plans and architect technical solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
