Manager CD&D – Color Applications

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, commissioning, and scaling of the New Berlin color applications lab
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of application scientists and technicians
• Serve as a technical leader in color application systems, guiding experimental design and troubleshooting
• Partner with commercial teams and customers to support concept-to-commercialization, including lab demonstrations and plant trials
• Align lab capabilities with strategic innovation priorities and collaborate with global R&D teams
• Establish and maintain lab operating procedures, safety standards, and efficient testing workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
• 8-12+ years of experience in food or beverage applications
• Strong technical expertise in color systems and color chemistry
• Proven experience in lab management and/or team leadership
• Demonstrated success in customer-facing technical roles
• Experience in commercialization, scale-up, and translating lab work to commercial production
