Manager, Career Services

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, promote, and execute a comprehensive Career Services program for the Vancouver campus
• Provide one-on-one career guidance and counseling to students and alumni to address career-related needs
• Oversee both graduate and undergraduate internship programs
• Facilitate career workshops and organize large-scale career fairs
• Manage job postings and develop strong relations with external employers and industry partners
• Engage in alumni relations development to support student success
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Career Services department

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in career advisement, student services, human resources, or recruitment
• Experience working with both domestic and international students
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian labor market and recruitment trends
• Proven event and project management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office programs
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Must hold Canadian residency or a valid work permit
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or a degree currently in progress
• Experience working with mature students and foreign-trained professionals
• Multicultural experience and cross-cultural sensitivity
• Ability to speak multiple languages
• Strong marketing and public presentation skills

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 CAD
